Canvassing Blitz in Kanata followed by dinner

For Team Qirbi Volunteers, please join us in a day of canvassing sessions. We will be canvassing in Kanata from Bridlewood through to Morgan’s Grant on Saturday afternoon.  


Following canvassing, we will meet for "fish and chips" at Digby's Restaurant at Kanata Centrum.

Open House Discussion on Our Schools

A much need workshop to discuss our community’s needs.  We will take a Round Table format, and welcome parents and students to join a panel of community leaders to discuss ”Our Schools”.  

Issues discussed will be preceded by short presentations by local experts in each subject.


Subjects for Discussion


  • The Curriculum, and Changes to It;
  • Diversity in Our Schools;
  • Special Programs in Our Schools (Special Needs and Gifted Programs);
  • Mental Health Challenges in Our Schools;
  • Preparing Our Children for the Future - Building Opportunities;
  • Bullying, Racism, Sexism, and other Issues of Discrimination; 
  • Creating an Optimal Environment for Learning.

As the Host and Mediator, Waleed Qirbi will guide the discussion, and invite community questions and commentary, to bring to light the issues that matter to our Community.
